As shown in the adjacent graphic, a dual-sided comment sheet was given to each attendee of the Public Scoping Meeting in the project handout. The comment sheet asked five open-ended questions with additional space for other comments. |

Attendees were requested to either submit their comment sheets the day of the meeting, mail in by April 18, 2003, or visit the project website to submit comments electronically. Two court reporters were also present during the posted hours of the
meeting to record verbal statements and comments by meeting participants. |

In addition to the comment sheets and transcripts, comments were obtained through other written correspondence collected at the Public Scoping Meetings, the Project P.O. Box 30185, the NorthShoreRoad.info website, the National Park Service, and the Federal Highway Administration. |
