MARCH 2003 PUBLIC SCOPING MEETINGS

The Project Scoping Meeting series was held during March 2003 in the following locations: Bryson City, North Carolina; Asheville, North Carolina; Robbinsville, North Carolina; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. As detailed in the table below, the meetings were primarily held at local high schools and visitor centers. Participants were able to talk with the project study team, assimilate project information, support other individuals with similar concerns, and/or provide input.
